Bio 'Bout Bob

A little something about me: I've lived my entire life in Wisconsin. I grew up in a town in southwest Wisconsin, called Fennimore. I moved to La Crosse, Wisconsin for college in 1988 at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. I fell in love with La Crosse and still live here. I couldn't seem to pull myself away from Third Street (bar scene) and the awesome Oktoberfest celebration in La Crosse. At UWL, I majored in accounting and started a minor in Computer Science. However, I didn't have enough time for partying with that load, so I had to choose. I chose accounting and partying, and decided to drop my minor in Computer Science. If I could do it over, I would have chosen Computers and partying. But computers are a large part of my life, and part of my job, now. I take pride in that, although I know it makes me sound like a very boring guy. However, I also take pride in being one hell of a fun guy, so I've been told anyway, and not only by other accountants. Believe it or not, some of the most fun people I know are accountants, so I think the stereotype of accountants being boring only applies to a small percentage. Make sure you don't forget that, or you might miss out on some great action. Anything else you would care to know about me, you can find on my homepage, or drop me an email. I'm an avid email'er.

This is a self-portrait of Bob, taken while on my dream vacation in Dallas in November of 1996. You can see more of this vacation on my Dallas Cowboys Page. Check out my eyes - do you think I was partying?
